Explore the forested valley above Mumm Creek, which runs right through the property. No crowds, no city noise, your phone will not ring or ding. The silence is golden and the scenery is spectacular. You may hear the sound of water from the creek and experience the sights and sounds of wildlife which is abundant in the valley. Amenities
There is no set schedule so that you can enjoy the magic of Mountain Time!
Hiking
We are set in the stunning Alpine forests. You can find wildflowers and wild birds. Our wildlife is just that – WILD. While we will see plenty of evidence of wildlife presence (scat, tracks, markings), it is unlikely that we will encounter any animal face-to-face during the hike.
If you wish to view wildlife without disturbing them, visit Rock Lake Viewpoint around dusk.
Secluded
At the top of our drive lane, you enter the clearing where the sawmill once stood. Take in the views of the Berland Ridge to your left, the Hoff Ridge to your right, Zebra, the Bazalgette and Mt. Hunter in front of you and the Moose Horn behind you.
Incredible, extraordinary views !!
Wildlife
Escape Elevation – 5,000 feet

We are also a critical winter range for elk, deer and bighorn sheep.
